Bonding With The Family

Spending time in Kiev meant I got to hang out with my fabulous Grandpa Petya and Grandma Mila in their warm and wonderful home that has this amazing smell of happiness and love (which means it's full of baked goods and lilies). I also got to hang out with my Uncle Andrey, Aunt Arenda, my cousins Mariyka, Petya and Danik and as an extra treat Uncle Pavlik, Aunt Pauliina and cousins Nadijka and Zlata were in town as well! Nothing better than being in Kiev with the family.

Spending time with the family means that there are plenty of kids running around. However, if ever there happens to be a moment of silence--you know something is up. We were winding down our meal when the girls run in yelling, "Petya's climbed up on the dresser!!" Indeed, he did. We have no idea how it happened, but we did eventually get him down.

Zlata and Petya: best of friends

The girls and I decided to bake some cookies!

Nakijka was in charge of cutting out the dough

Zlata came to love my heels almost as much as I do

Petya really likes to take pictures, this is one of Nadijka and me. Nadijka wasn't too happy that it was Petya's turn to take pictures. At least Petya was smiling.
