The Port Visit

So Rotterdam is currently the third largest port in the world. Largest in Europe. Today we got a tour into the inner workings of this masterpiece of a port. A huge amount of this port was completely automated--crates being picked up from the ships, sorted, stored, etc. all without any man power. Here's a peek:

Rotterdam and the famous Erasmus bridge aka "The Swan"

This is the very edge of Rotterdam at the North Sea. All this land you see is fake. They add miles and miles of land.

Wow, lucky! That is really cool that you got to see the port. It's amazing that some of the land is taken from to sea. I hope you've enjoyed your stay there so far.

Always try to try all the foods, that was what i did, and it was amazing how much stuff i tried that i thought i would never like. personally i liked the fries and mayo. i though it was much better then here. Also try the Doena, its not from Holland, but really great!!! You are lucky to be there, and i encourage you to experience new things, don't be afraid, but trust your instincs, sometimes thinkgs are as bad as they seem.... talking about clouthes, add some color to the country...hehehe... i am praying for you, and missing you!!! Sorry i haven't gotten a hold of you yet, end of the semester gets really stressful. But i really hope you are busy with having fun in Holland. Well alright... sending you my love and hugs, write and let me know how you are doing!
